MEETINGS
Formal Club meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month from 7:30pm until 9pm at Tooley's Boatyard. Guests are welcome - please email for details.
We have an informal gathering at Tooleys Boatyard one Saturday morning each month. As part of the Tooleys Open Days on the first Saturday of each month we will be present to demonstrate some models and projects. It is also an opportunity for anyone to drop by for discussion or to seek advice.
The planned dates for 2026 are:
6th June, 4th July, 1st August, 5th September and the Canal Festival on 3rd/4th October
Tooley's, situated on the South Oxford Canal to the rear of the Castle Quay Shopping Centre, is the oldest working dry dock on the Inland Waterways, having been in continuous use since 1790.
The Forge also dates from 1790 and is
a Scheduled Ancient Monument.
On other Thursday evenings when not meeting at Tooleys, we are at our track a few miles north of Banbury on private land. There we undertake the ongoing development of the track, conduct boiler tests, etc. Visitors by arrangement.
